Digging begins for Storrs, Dungworth and Bradfield backhaul

Digging has begun! Our contractors have been out in the fields today, laying the duct for our backhaul fibre route that will bring Gigabit speeds to the villages of Storrs, Dungworth, Bradfield and beyond.

Building from the ground up

This backhaul route is a critical piece of infrastructure - it's the high-capacity link that connects our rural network back to our core. Once complete, it gives us the foundation to fan out into individual streets and properties across the Bradfield parish.

Bringing full fibre to rural communities means building through fields, along country lanes and across challenging terrain. It takes real investment and local knowledge - but these communities have been underserved for too long, and they deserve the same quality of broadband as the city centre.
