We're proud to announce that Pine Media's vehicle fleet is now 100% electric. Every van and vehicle our engineers use to build and maintain our full fibre network is now zero-emission at the tailpipe.

Reducing our footprint

As a company that's building infrastructure for the long term, we think it's important to do so responsibly. Our engineers cover thousands of miles across Sheffield every year - switching to electric vehicles means we're cutting emissions significantly while still delivering the same quality of service.

Better for Sheffield's streets

Electric vans are quieter and cleaner, which matters when our teams are working in residential areas. Less noise, no exhaust fumes - it's a small thing that makes a difference when we're on your street installing fibre.

Part of a bigger picture

Going fully electric is just one part of how we're trying to operate more sustainably. Full fibre broadband itself is more energy-efficient than older copper networks, using less power to deliver faster speeds. Combined with our electric fleet, we're building a greener network for Sheffield.
