Rural Gigabit build begins across the Hope Valley

Our rural Gigabit FTTP build has started this week across the Hope Valley. Our engineers are on the ground, laying the fibre optic infrastructure that will bring genuine full fibre broadband to communities that have been waiting years for a decent connection.

Why the Hope Valley?

Many homes and businesses in the Hope Valley are still relying on slow ADSL connections, with download speeds often in single figures. For a growing number of people working from home, running rural businesses, or simply trying to get online in the evening, this isn't good enough.

Building our own network

Unlike providers who resell someone else's infrastructure, we're building our own fibre network from scratch. That means we control the quality, the routing and the capacity - and we can design it specifically for these rural communities.

Combined with our Openreach FTTP product launching later this year, we'll be bringing genuine broadband choice to areas that have historically had none.
